Wellington: Day 7
Dec 04
Hello family, I know it’s been some days since our last update, but we’ll try to catch up.
We visited the Museum of New Zealand, or in Maori: Te Papa Tongarewa. The Muses is amazing, it’s really big so we only got two visit two of the four sections of the museum.

To get to the museum we took the usual train from Linden Station to Wellinton’s Railway Station, then we walked all the pedestrian access on the Watefront section which is quite beautiful.

On the inisde of the museum we are not allowed to take pictures of the exhibitions so we don’t have many of them. We visited this time the first and second floor which cover mostly the science aspect of New Zealand (biology, geography, animals, etc).
On the second floor there is a Kids Zone which is a small area with toys and other kind of interactive things for the girls, here they played on the computer (on which Raquel wanted to see Toy Story) and Sarai dressed herself as different animals with some costumes they had.

On one of the halls they had an actual whale skeleton hanging on the roof.

And finally on the way back we actually found the way to get to Hogwarts, we might try to get the train there some other day 😀

The museum is really very interesting, I love to look at Sarai and Raquel using the computer.
