Wellington: Day 29
Dec 22
It’s still raining like crazy and today a disaster happened, when I woke up and decided to turn on my laptop the thing wouldn’t turn on. I spent the whole morning trying to figure out what might be wrong, I finally had to take it to a repair shop up in Porirua, and since tomorrow we are leaving to Napier I had to pay extra to have the revision in a hurry, 95 NZD in total, ouch!
While the laptop was on the shop we decided to make the most out of the day so we took the train one last time to Wellington’s CBD to make a visit to the Te Papa Museum, we finally got to the last two floors of the museum. On the 5th floor there was a photographic exhibition of Brian Brake, New Zealand’s most celebrated photographer, it was a really nice showing.
After the museum we walked Lambton Quay and then bought some chinese take-out. We got back home to find out that the laptop blew up the power connector and since the piece will take so long to arrive I wouldn’t be able to do it here in New Zealand. Since I can’t stop my work I had to buy a mini-laptop, so this was our first extraordinary expense of the trip 🙁
That’s it for our Wellington visit, we had an amazing time here, Wellington is a beautiful city full of arts, activities and amazing sightings, we will definetely miss it.

You’re absolutely right, Wellington is a beautiful city.
