San Francisco: Day 2 by Sol

No, it’s not a mistake. This is my version with more stories.

I hadn’t have much sleep, I was keeping eye on the girls so the barrier of pillows wouldn’t fall. They took a bubble bath, then we showered. We left the room tidy.

In the hotel we had breakfast included, but Uri decided to look for a restaurant, so we went walking around (of course, I’m looking at stores I’ll be visiting later), we walked about 20 minutes until, wait, guess where we had had breakfast? Just in front of the hotel.

I told Uri, that the girls should share breakfast, but noooo, so now we had a gigantic breakfast for each one.

Then, of course I’m on Twilight mode, so we went to Borders looking for my book, and some twilight souvenirs.  Suddenly Raquel saw something, a Toy story 3 Dvd, she grabbed 4 since that’s all that she could carry. I told her to pick only 1, that was ok for her, at least she had 1.

We went upstairs looking for my book, but first to the kids section. They looked like headless chickens, choosing one book then changing their minds. Of course Raquel the only thing that she went looking for is Toy Story related. They finally picked some coloring books: Toy Story and Tangled (a new Disney movie coming soon). An well, they have sticky hands so they also picked up some bath toys.

So finally, it’s my time for me to grab my book. Next to the book were New Moon chocolates but I didn’t buy them because I heard they are  terrible. I didn’t find anything more Twilight related, except books.

So we were on line to pay when my eyes saw something, a discount card. I suggested Uri to get it, but he said no, I said yes, so guess who won? Me, so we saved like $8 usd, you know I love discounts and sales. Then we carried on and asked Raquel for the movie so we could pay it, she cried until we had paid for it and finally she relieved.

Shopping time! We went to San Francisco Centre shopping mall. It has 6 floors (I know!), but I was with my husband so I still had to pretend that I had control of myself.

We looked at the map (twilight mode), I looked for hottopic, level c. When I arrived, I did everything I could to look like a sane person, but my eyes were of a woman possessed when I saw a heavenly signal, 50% off more! I asked a girl “do you have anything twilight related?”. They didn’t have much so I only bought a keychain (yes I proved to all of you that I have will power).

Then we bought some t-shirts in Aeropostale, and soft socks for me.

The next thing was looking for Sarai’s tennis, we found a store that had a “buy one get the second 1/2 price”, so she picked princess tennis & shoes. Raquel was still on Toy Story mode, she saw some Buzz tennis (they were boy tennis), so we bought her 3 pairs of Toy Story socks.

At this moment Uri and the girls decided that it was time to go. But I still had to find my wallet and backpack so they decided to ditch me, Uri told me to take 40 minutes!, only that? Of course I took 1 hr, just because I had to remind myself that I had a family.

I walked a lot, what did I bought? Nothing! But I saw a lot that I will buy. I entered a store called Walgreens, so I found my backpack. I returned to the hotel.

For my surprise, the room looked like a bomb exploted. So I arranged the room again, so we could go and meet Marco and his wife.

First we went to buy the backpack, guess what I found? Eclipse gum! I bought 2 and the backpack.

We took a taxi to Marco’s house. The girls immediately enter to the bedroom. Sarai began to recollect flowers. So we walk to the bus stop, we went to the Golden Gate. We walk until the first tower, Saraí refuses us to take pictures of her.

So we walk back, we bought some souvenirs. A small San Francisco bag with candies, so Saraí could carry her flowers.

We went back to Marco’s house for the stroller. I asked the girls to go to the bathroom before we leave, Raquel went. We were on the bus stop when suddenly, Saraí wants to pee, we walk until we found a gas station. We run to the bus stop and we make it on time, the bus was just arriving.

We took the bus to Fisherman’s wharf. Saraí wanted a shrimp that looked like a crab (lobster). We ate, when Saraí finished, she wanted the dessert.

We went to Ghirardelli’s (*heaven music plays*), we ordered and pay before we sat. My husband didn’t listen to me, he ordered an ice cream for each girl, so what do we had?  A gigantic ice cream, remember always share food in the USA. There they had a free water self serving, just imagine how much sugar you consume, so you have to serve you water.

We were walking to Marco’s house,there was a hill, so Uri decided to put down Saraí of the stroller, when suddenly Saraí asked: where’s my bag? (remember the one she wad using for her flowers). OMG! I went all the way back, I didn’t find it. When I saw them waiting for me, I saw Saraí approaching, but there was a woman on a hoodie in front of me, Saraí began to talk to her, she realized she was a random woman, you had to see the woman reaction she was moving father her like ‘hey, don’t get closer’, it was hillarious. We walk across a park, then we take a cab, back the hotel.

Raquel was unconscious, we put her pjs, and fell asleep at 8 pm.

That was our day, I really wanted to go out and take pictures, go to stores and buy something, but my head keep saying yes!, but my back and feet said no!, so my feet won.

That was the end of our day.
